Information we process
When an authorised person connects Meta business assets to Northgate Social Analytics, we may process:
- Meta user, business, Page, Instagram professional account and advertising account identifiers.
- Content and media metadata required to publish and manage approved posts.
- Organic engagement, audience and advertising performance metrics.
- OAuth access tokens, granted permissions and connection status.
We do not ask for or store Facebook or Instagram passwords.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate authorised users, connect Northgate business assets, publish and manage approved content, review performance, manage advertising where specifically authorised, troubleshoot technical issues and protect the security of our systems.
Disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed through Meta's official APIs and by service providers that support our hosting, security and business operations. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above or to meet legal obligations. Access tokens are removed or invalidated when the relevant connection is revoked or no longer required. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Your choices
